Usually you have only one opportunity each year (during open enrollment) to make changes to your benefits elections. Outside of open enrollment, if you experience a qualifying life event, such as getting married, having a child, or your spouse losing coverage under their own plan, you have 60 days from the date of that event to make changes to your coverage. Make sure you’re keeping your loved ones covered all year round.
